Forget the sidewalk— this is a tricked-out backpacking boot with plenty of extras to help us carry heavier packs on true trails. The mid-cut ankle collars provide more ankle support than Merrells typically do with a rock plate underfoot for added stability and support for backpacking. The waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining lets us hike comfortably in wet weather while the Vibram Megagrip outsoles have terrific traction in dry and wet conditions for four-season performance. At the same time, it incorporates the fit of the Agility Peak trail running shoe to keep things comfortable and lighter. New for 2023, this backpacking boot is sure to turn some heads on the trail.
